  1. Remove the cover

    Start by removing debris and pumping off water from the cover. Clean it with water and a soft brush, and optionally use a designated cleaning agent. Let it dry and store it in a dry place.
  2. Clean the skimmers

    Next, clean the skimmers and remove any coarse debris in and around the pool. Use an Acid Water Line Cleaner to clean dirty edges of the pool.
  3. Check the equipment

    Top up the pool with clean water if needed, and check the operation of equipment such as the filter pump and sand filter. 
  4. Filter

    Turn on the filtration system, clean the walls of the pool, and vacuum the bottom. Backwash and clean the sand filter if necessary, using a filter cleaner. 
  5. Test water balance

    Test the pH level of the water and rebalance if needed (refer to the explanation about pH level). Avoid stains, deposits, and equipment damage by ensuring proper water balance. Then, use chlorine shock treatment from our assortment. Let the pump run for at least 24 hours afterward.
