The NaanDan Drop Guide Slim is ideal for crops growing on soilless such as strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, paprika and also for crops growing in pots.
The advantage of the black color of the NaanDan drop guide slim is that it reduces the growth of algae on the stake which allows the stake to operate more efficiently for longer time and also reduce the spreading of diseases that through the stake can reach the source. The drop guide slim does not have a labyrinth at the end of the stake, therefore it is recommended that it is used 1 on 1 with a button dripper, failing to do so can cause flow rates to be uneven between stakes/plants. The drop split knife is specially important to divide the drop in 2 so the water is distributed on both sides of the steak, while the function of the drop stoppers is to guide the drop all the way down to the root and prevent for example that leafs touchign the stake cut the flow of the drop and also that the drop does not stop at the ground level but it reaches the end of the stake that is closer to the roots.
