The Challenge
The site sits in Soest's historic old town — a one-way street, tight access routes, and heavy footfall. Construction runs alongside everyday life: residents already occupy the flats above. The build-up over the car park deck is only around 60 cm deep, and the working area between the buildings and the access routes to it is correspondingly narrow.
The Solution
Kötter GaLaBau works in individual construction phases, adapted to on-site requirements. Close coordination between the contractor, the city of Soest and residents is required throughout the entire build.
